as I understand it, the textures are temporary? And not possible to use any ripped UUIDs 

You would have to use the UUIDs to make a skin and then wear it. Like my current skin only came as an applier so I'm going to make new wearables. 

That is from your own skin. But what if you are going to rip other skins/ skins other people are wearing? That will cause the above troubles - if not, i am back to scratch understanding how BoM effects copybotting.
