Getting the dev kits legitimately takes longer and is not guaranteed you'll get them you'll have to design products that are appealing to the general market have top-notch ads have a large enough category of content. I personally know maitreya and yentements are really biased when they come to picking designers. Maitreya will only give you a dev kit if you're popular.
