Hi! I'm excited to find an active CB forum! I have been looking for a newer viewer as the one I have is having some issues...I have been ripping a lot lately to use on OpenSim, so I'll be uploading some stuff soon

One quick question/comment - was this under a different domain/site before? I had though potentially I had an account years ago, but couldn't find what I *thought* was my username/email I used. It's possible it was a different forum. At any rate, I hope that isn't a problem. I read something about rankings not transferring anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter. *ETA upon more reading I realized that was one of the "other" forums talked about here. So yeah I can see why there is a new and better place!*

Also stupid question but how do I know whether something has been shared/if I should share it if I can't access the other subforums (other than the sandbox) to see what's there? At least if I'm understanding right the sandbox is only what newbies have uploaded?

you were almost for sure on another forum that seems to have ended!
I am telling you that because we left that forum a long time ago, so be sure to find many known names

Copybot.club is a better organized forum and we have more strict rules but on the other hand we are free
there are no VIPs here!

Regarding copybot viewers, you've got several you can choose from:
Darkstorm v6.2.0 CBC Edition
Club64 Beta Viewer
Revelator Alpha Bento build 7610

Darkstorm and Club64 are Firestorm based
Revelator is Singularity based

It's great to see another familiar name, welcome home .
To see if something has already been shared use search,
our search engine runs like a charm and if you share something
who has been already shared it is okay too because it happens
as long it isn't copied and paste from another share ~ winks ~
So go ahead and if you need any help just give us a shout.

yes, you are sharing in the sandbox when you belong to the newbie usergroup.  I will move the shares out of the sandbox to their proper places after you worked your way to the apprentice user group

we are aware you cant search the entire forum when you are a newbie, so double posts might happen, but you are excused. The sandbox is mostly here to get our forum members to share the "right way" aka feed the search engine properly.  
This will save moderators a lot of work in the future.
