Hello, I'm an old SL user and I haven't been active in it for along time, but I think it's dying quickly (staff firings, AI ad campaigns, dae file support dying) and they look desperate. I want to export some of my massive collection of stuff (buildings, pets, vehicles) to use in other places. Before I stopped logging in I was an ok scripter and ChatGPT can probably help me bridge the gap now.
I managed to get a copy of an old copybot viewer and exported some mesh, but I especially wanted to get out some animesh stuff and get it working in SL to tinker with it and then put it in OpenSim or someplace in the future. I haven't been able to get animesh pets to export right, especially animations. So I'm here to look for help and share my successes.
