Buenas, todos. Mezcal here, at your service. I just wanted to take a moment to explain my presence. I’m not too familiar with CBC, but back in the day, I was part of KG. It’s good to see some familiar faces around, even if it feels like I showed up a little late to the party. A long time ago, my good compañero Showbis invited me but you know how RL gets sometimes. It pulls you away from the things you enjoy. Even so, Show and I stayed in touch. Took him a few months to wear down my stubborn streak about coming back to the scene. After some back and forth and a few cold beers he shared his ideas for CBC. Honestly, with the new energy and fresh approach he showed me, I figured, why not? Sometimes you just have to tip your hat, take a chance, and see where the road leads. So here I am ready to get to work and see what we can make together.

Hey Mezcal, bienvenido compañero! So glad to finally see you post here!

Reading your intro brought back some memories, man. It definitely took a few cold ones and some persistent nagging on my part (you know my stubborn streak matches yours! lol) to get you back into the scene after RL pulled you away.
Seriously though, I'm genuinely thrilled you decided to take the plunge and join us here at CBC. Your talent, knowledge, and just your general vibe are exactly what we value.

For those members who might not know Mezcal from back in the KG days (where he used a different handle), let me just say this: he's good people. He gets the difference between empowering users and exploiting them, which is crucial.

His arrival actually times perfectly with what we're building here with **V4 ("Before")**. As many of you know from the recent announcement Link Here, we're making a real push to get back to the core principles this place was founded on nearly 9 years ago – focusing on ethical "White Hat Backup," genuine community support, and knowledge sharing. We're actively moving away from any kind of harsh vibe and cultivating an environment built on mutual respect and helping each other out.

This also means rejecting the "pay-to-play VIP" or mercenary spirit you sometimes see elsewhere – that's never been the CBC way, and it certainly won't be part of V4 either.
We're building a "Guild" here, where contribution, helpfulness, and alignment with our core values are what matter most.

That's why having someone like Mezcal, who understands the landscape and shares that supportive, ethical approach, join us now is fantastic. As we build the new "Guild" team structure (more details on roles coming soon!), we're looking for members – both old and new – who embody this spirit. Don't be surprised if you see members who demonstrate these qualities stepping into roles quickly; V4 is about recognizing valuable contribution and positive energy, not just seniority on this specific board.
