Hi, I came to SL out of research and curiosity, but I stayed here because I was impressed by the vast world out there. I'd like to learn how to create new things, especially getting into scripting, as I'm planning to study programming. Thank you for your attention.

Hey Ikkkzyott,
Well look at that, you found us. Sometimes the best places aren’t the ones you were heading toward, but the ones you just happen to land in. I’m glad you did.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Second Life. There’s something about it. If you can picture it, dream it, or feel it deep down, you can build it. Maybe that’s why I stuck around so long. It’s not perfect, but it has a kind of freedom that keeps pulling you back in.
It’s great that you’re getting into scripting. That’s a solid skill to have. Just be careful not to get buried in tutorial hell. There are too many half-finished guides out there and not enough straight answers. But you’re not alone in it.
I pulled together a few helpful links to make getting around the forum easier. Should save you a little time and a few headaches.
And hey, you’re very welcome. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Around here, we look out for each other.
